| Description: | Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company, in Provo Utah is expanding and modernizing its equipment and facility based on lean manufacturing principles. Pacific States is in need of a Plant Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering degree who wants to be an integral part in this change. | Duties: | -Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
-Oversee design, installation, and operation of new and modified equipment.
-Research and analyze vendor design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
-Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
-Use AutoCAD to create basic design layouts.
-Coordinate detail drawings with drafter. |
| Qualifications: | -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a realted field.
- 2 years or more related expereince is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
-AutoCAD 2004 or equivalent.
-Microsoft Project or equivalent.
-Microsoft Excel or equivalent.
-Microsoft Word or equivalent.
-Project management.
