| Description: | Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company, located in Provo, Utah currently has 2 openings for an ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER INTERN.

| Duties: | Work Instructions
•Revise and develop plant work instructions related to environmental management systems.
•Improve current plant personnel work instructions to include environmental requirements and specific environmental work instructions.
•Assist in developing job safety analyses for employees.
Environmental Programs
•Assist in the presentation and revision of environmental training programs, I.e. stormwater, spcc, waste management, and haz-waster.
•Assist in performing waste management, spcc, storm water inspections.
•Assist in performing simple water and soil samples, waste sampling.
•Assist in comprehensive air emission inventory and related factor reviews.
Environmental Projects
•Water Treatment Plant
•Landfill permitting
•Drafting landfill expansion
•Working toward pond closure
•NEPT/Clean Utah program/Potential NPEP
•Assist in OpsEnvironmental Environmental Data Tracking Program

| Qualifications: | Students should be approximately in their third year. Interested persons should be enthusiastic about working in an industrial setting, self motivated and willing to take on assigned tasks. Knowledge of Mircosoft Office applications, including Access is required. Some shift may be required.
